A new path forward for everyone on the streets
This site archives a series of walks in high heels from January 2023. The walks are ongoing. This work dives into the joys, dreams, pains and discomforts of being feminine and walking in high heels and opens those experiences to an audience during Dutch Design Week. Below are some key points I’ve learned on my walks alone, with friends and strangers.

Respect everyone, no matter who they are, no matter where they come from, and no matter the time of day.

Avoid wolf whistling, catcalling, touching, chasing or following someone.
3
Let women and feminine people not be punished or intimidated by going for a walk.
4
In the Netherlands, you are able to wear what you want on the streets regardless of what people think.¹
5
When a woman or feminine person walks on the streets, they are just walking.
6
Even if a woman or feminine person dresses provocatively, there needs to be baseline respect in public space.
